What is Safe Buy?

Safe Buy is the highest price you can pay for a device and still make the profit you set. It starts from the expected sell price, deducts expected repairs, selling fees, holding cost, a risk reserve and your minimum profit, and rounds down to the nearest hundred baht. It is shown with a confidence score and the amount of data behind it.

How Safe Buy is calculated

An open formula. Every number can be traced back.

Safe Buy = Expected Sell − Repair cost − Selling fees − Holding cost − Risk reserve − Minimum profit

Example: a phone expected to sell for ฿20,000 within ~10 days (system defaults, adjustable by each store)
Expected sell price20,000
Expected repair cost− 0
Selling fees (0%)− 0
Holding cost (1.5%/month × 10 days)− 100
Risk reserve (3%)− 600
Minimum profit (10%, at least ฿500)− 2,000
Safe Buy (rounded down to the nearest 100)17,300

More than a single number

  • Price range

Shows the low–high range of real selling prices, not a single number that looks more precise than it is.

  • Confidence

Shows how much data is behind the estimate. When data is thin, the system says so plainly instead of guessing.

  • Liquidity

How easily a model sells, based on sales speed and current stock.

  • Price Curve

How much longer a higher price is likely to take to sell. Choose between faster cash turnover and more profit per unit.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the expected sell price (Expected Sell) come from?

From the prices your store actually sells at, adjusted for condition grade, battery, official or grey-import units, and the age of the data. When there is little data, it also uses listing prices your store has recorded and shows lower confidence.

What if we have no sales data yet?

The system tells you there is not enough data instead of guessing a price. Your store can record market prices it finds, and the system learns from every real sale your store makes.

Can we buy above Safe Buy when we need to?

Yes, but you must give a reason and get approval from an authorized user. The system records it and notifies the store owner.
