Buying and valuing gold, silver and jewellery is not open yet. It needs its own engine based on weight and purity, and must pass a compliance review first.
Not available yet
This capability opens only after it passes the required review. This page explains what it is and what you can use in the meantime.
Gold, silver and jewellery are valued in a completely different way from phones and laptops, so the system keeps a separate engine for gold shops. It is not open yet.
Why gold needs its own engine
Phones are valued by model, spec, condition and the prices they actually sell for. Gold and silver are valued by the metal itself: purity, gross weight, the weight of stones that must be deducted, the making charge, and that day's reference gold price. Use the phone method and the price makes no sense, so gold valuation was separated from electronics from the start.
What you can use today
-
The catalog today covers electronic devices such as phones, tablets and laptops. Shops that sell these alongside gold can use that part fully.
-
There are no screens yet for buying, valuing or selling gold in the system.
What is not open yet

Daily reference gold prices for stores

Gold-specific stock and reports
Why it is not open yet
Trading gold and precious metals comes with requirements on customer identification, anti-money-laundering and record keeping that must be checked completely first, and the reference gold price must always be current. This part opens only after those requirements have been reviewed.
What to do meanwhile
-
Don't pick another catalog model to stand in for gold or jewellery, because valuations and reports would be wrong.
-
Keep using your current method for gold for now.
-
If the shop also sells phones or laptops, use this system for those right away. See How the system helps your store: a quick overview.
