Search in the sale screen's customer card. If nobody is found, add a new customer, enter a name, tick consent and save; they're put on the bill at once.
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier, Appraiser (role defaults; the owner can change them)
If a customer isn't in the system yet, add them from the Customer card on the sale screen without leaving the bill. The new customer is chosen on the bill straight away. A customer is optional on a normal sale, but a trade-in always needs one.
Search for an existing customer first
Type at least two characters in the search box of the Customer card:
-
National ID or phone number: type the full number, because these are encrypted.
-
Name or customer code: part of it is enough.
Tap a name to choose it. The card shows the customer code, the phone and ID partly hidden, and the identity check status. If you picked the wrong person, tap Change.
Add a new customer
In Customer, type a national ID, phone number or name.
If nobody is found, tap No customer found — add a new customer. What you typed is moved into the matching field.
Enter the Name. The Last name, Phone and National ID number are optional, except that a trade-in needs the ID number.
Tell the customer how their data is kept, then tick the required consent box.
Tap Save customer.
You need Add customers. Without it, the add-customer button doesn't appear.
Good to know
-
Always search before adding, so customers aren't duplicated.
-
A customer your shop has set to "do not transact" can still be sold to, but you can't buy or take a trade-in from them.
-
Other details, such as the address, can be added later on the customer page. See Customers: add, find and view them.
