Sell on the sale screen: scan or search for a ready-to-sell device in your branch, check the price, add a customer if needed, take payment, confirm and print.
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier (role defaults; the owner can change them)
A counter sale happens on one screen, Sell item: add items to the bill, check prices, pick a customer if you want, take the money and print the receipt. When you confirm, the devices become sold, and the revenue and money received are recorded in a single document.
Before you start
-
Only devices that are ready to sell, listed or reserved can be sold.
-
The device must be in the branch you're selling from. If it's at another branch, transfer it first. See Transfer stock between branches and receive it.
-
You need the Sell items permission.
Open Sell item, or tap Sell this item on an item page. If the shop has several branches, choose one in Sell from branch.
In Item, scan the IMEI or type the IMEI, stock code or model name, then tap the item.
Check each device's Selling price. The target price is filled in for you; change it if you agreed another price.
In Customer, search for or add a customer if the receipt should carry their name (optional).
In Payment, enter any Bill discount, then choose a method under Receive payment by.
For cash, enter the Cash received and the system works out the Change. Then tap Confirm sale.
After you confirm
-
You land on the sale document, numbered from SAL. Tap Print 80 mm receipt or A4. See Print an A4 or 80 mm receipt, and reprint.
-
Tap Next sale to start a new bill.
-
The device becomes Sold, and its true profit uses the price received after discounts minus every cost.
While selling
-
One scan: if the number you scan, or type and press Enter, matches exactly one item, it goes straight onto the bill.
-
Remove: tap the bin icon on an item to take it off the bill.
-
Changing branch: the bill is cleared when you change the selling branch, because items must be in the branch you sell from.
-
Several devices: keep adding items to the same bill. See Sell several devices on one bill with a discount.
-
Paying several ways: see Split payments and work out change.
-
The customer trades in an old device: see Take a trade-in during a sale.
If you can't find the item
If the system shows No items ready to sell at this branch match your search, the device may not be ready to sell, may be at another branch, or may already be sold. See Can't find an item on the sale page.
