Who can do this:
Owner (role defaults; the owner can change them)

Pricing settings are the amounts the system takes off Expected Sell to reach Safe Buy. Every shop has different costs and profit targets, so the owner can adjust them in the Buying defaults (Safe Buy) card on the Store settings page.

Who can change them

Only people with Pricing and limit settings, which is an owner-only permission. Others who can open the page see the values read-only, with a note that only the owner can change them.

What you can set, and the defaults

Field Default Meaning
Required profit 10% Minimum profit as a percentage of Expected Sell
Minimum profit per item ฿500 Minimum profit in baht; the higher of these two is used
Risk reserve 3% Held back for problems you couldn't find, or a falling market
Selling fees 0% Fees when selling, such as card or platform fees
Monthly cost of capital 1.5% The cost of money tied up in the device while it waits to sell
Expected holding days (default) 14 Used when there's not enough sales history to estimate the days
Quick Sell discount 8% Used to work out the Quick Sell price
  1. Open Store settings and go to the Buying defaults (Safe Buy) card.

  2. Change the values you want. Enter percentages as plain numbers.

  3. Tap Save settings.

  4. Open Valuation and value a model you buy often, to check the new Safe Buy suits your shop.

When the changes apply

New values apply to the next valuation straight away, on both the buying screen and the valuation page. Valuations already saved with earlier documents don't change. Each save records the before and after values in the audit log.

Values shops can't change yet

Some values are system standards: suggested prices are rounded to ฿100, data from the last 180 days is used, older prices lose 2% a month, and listing prices count at 93% of the listed price.

Frequently asked questions

If I change the minimum profit, do old valuations change?

No. Valuations saved with earlier documents keep the values used at the time. New values apply to the next valuation.
