Owners set the purchase limit that needs an approver and the bill discount cap in store settings. New values apply to the next bill; seller ID stays required.
- Who can do this:
- Owner (role defaults; the owner can change them)
Buying and selling defaults are rules the system applies to every bill, such as how much you can pay before an approver is needed, and how big a discount can be given without special permission. Both are in the Stock and approvals card on the Store settings page, and only the owner can change them.
What you can set
| Field | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Purchases above this amount need approval | ฿30,000 | Purchases or trade-ins above this need a second person with purchase approval rights. See Purchases above the limit need an approver |
| Maximum discount without approval | 5% | A bill discount above this percentage must be recorded by someone with the discount permission. See Discounts above the cap need permission |
Setting the purchase limit to zero turns that check off.
Open Store settings and go to the Stock and approvals card.
Change Purchases above this amount need approval, as an amount in baht.
Change Maximum discount without approval, as a percentage.
Tap Save settings.
New values apply to the next bill straight away; saved bills don't change. Each change records the before and after values in the audit log.
Who can change them
Both fields need Pricing and limit settings, an owner-only permission. Everyone else sees them read-only, because they are the shop's controls and the people recording transactions shouldn't set their own limits.
