See how long each item has been in the store and which ones are slow, aged, unpriced or priced below cost, with what to do and a suggested price for each.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Supervisor-Approver, Inventory staff, Accountant, Auditor, Viewer (role defaults; the owner can change them)

Two reports in the Stock and selling speed group help you find money stuck in stock. Stock age shows how long each item has been in the store, and Aged stock & what to do picks out only the items with a problem and says what to do next. Both show data as of the moment you open them; there is no period to choose.

Stock age report

Shows every item the store still owns, including items awaiting inspection, in repair, reserved or being transferred between branches, oldest first.

  • Age (days): counted from the date the item was received until today.

  • Age band: five bands, from new arrivals to the items that have been in the store the longest. Each band name on the screen shows its range of days.

  • Cost and Expected profit: the item's total cost, and its list price minus that cost, shown only to people with View cost and profit.

The headline figures show the number of Items in stock, the Capital tied up in stock, and how many items are slow sellers or aged stock under your store's limits. By default an item is a slow seller from 30 days and aged stock from 60 days. The owner can change these limits; see Set the slow-moving and dead-stock thresholds.

Aged stock and what to do report

This report checks every item in stock and lists only the ones that need action, with Issue, What to do and Recommended price. Each item shows only its most important issue, in this order:

  1. No list price yet: suggests cost plus the store's minimum profit (10% by default).

  2. List price below cost: selling at this price makes a loss; the suggestion is worked out the same way as the first issue.

  3. Aged stock: the item has reached the aged-stock limit; the advice is to cut the price or sell to a dealer or marketplace to get the money back.

  4. In repair for a long time: follow up on the repair job, or sell the item as is.

  5. Slow seller: the item has reached the slow-seller limit; the advice is a small price cut and online promotion.

A suggested markdown never goes below cost, and it is rounded to the nearest ฿100 as set by the store.

Tap an item code in the report to open the item and change its price straight away. The headline figures show how many items Needs action and the Capital tied up in these items.

Frequently asked questions

How is the suggested price in the aged stock report worked out?

For an unpriced item or one priced below cost, it is cost plus the store's minimum profit. For aged or slow items, it is a small cut from the list price, never below cost, rounded the way the store set.

Do items in repair count towards stock age?

Yes. Stock age is counted from the date received for every item the store still owns, including items awaiting inspection, in repair, reserved or being transferred.
