  1. What each section tells you
  2. Why not everyone sees the same thing

The overview sums up cash, capital tied up, today's sales and profit, issues to act on, stock age, opportunities and recent documents, by permission and branch.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Supervisor-Approver, Cashier, Appraiser, Technician, Inventory staff, Accountant, Auditor, Privacy Officer, Viewer, Dealer (role defaults; the owner can change them)

The Overview page is the first page after you sign in. It sums up money, stock, today's figures and what needs attention on one page, from top to bottom in the order owners usually check in the morning.

What each section tells you

Cash and capital

  • Cash balance: the total in every active account, shown only to people who manage the store's cash. It turns red when negative.

  • Capital tied up in stock: the total cost of items in stock, shown only to people with View cost and profit.

  • Items in stock and Awaiting repair: how many units there are right now.

Today

  • Net sales: today's sales revenue after discounts, with the number of bills.

  • Purchases: units received today.

  • Net profit (sold today): the true profit on units sold today, shown only to people with View financial reports.

  • Net cash in/out: today's money in minus money out across all accounts.

Tap a card to open the related report or page. For example, net sales leads to Daily sales and purchases reports.

Needs action

Urgent issues and things to deal with from Store Intelligence, such as aged stock, prices below cost or overdue repair jobs. Only the most important few are shown. This card appears on every plan, and each person sees only the issues they are allowed to see. When there is nothing to do, it says Nothing urgent — stock, prices and repairs look healthy

Stock age

A colour bar splits the items in stock by age band, with the number of units in each band. People who can see costs also see the capital in each band. Tap Reports to open Stock age and aged stock reports.

Opportunity

For example, prices set below the market, or fast-selling models worth buying more of. This section needs the Intelligence and up plans. If your plan does not include it, this card always stays empty.

Recent activity

The store's latest documents, such as purchases, sales and voids, with who did them and when. Voided documents have their amount struck through. Tap All to see every document in Transactions.

Why not everyone sees the same thing

Each card follows permissions: people who cannot see costs do not see capital or profit. All figures are for the branch selected in the branch switcher; choosing all branches shows the whole store. Members limited to some branches always see only their own branches.
