Store Intelligence checks your stock, prices, repairs, transfers and cash, then lists what to do first, each with a button to act and the devices behind it.
- Plans:
- Available on Intelligence and up
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Appraiser, Accountant (role defaults; the owner can change them)
Store Intelligence is the screen where the system lists what your shop should deal with today, using your own shop's data: money accounts, stock, repair jobs, branch transfers and the market prices the system helps estimate. Each finding says what was found, how many devices it covers, how much money is involved and what to do next, not just a number in a report.
What the system checks
| Finding | What the system looks at |
|---|---|
| Negative balance | Money accounts whose balance is below zero, usually because an opening balance or capital top-up was never recorded |
| Dead and slow stock | Stock age against the limits your shop sets |
| Price below cost | A list price below the device's total cost, or a market price that has already fallen below cost |
| Prices vs market | List prices above or below the price range the system helps estimate, and ready-to-sell devices with no price yet |
| Overdue repairs and transfers | Repair jobs open for a long time, and stock the receiving branch has not confirmed |
| Bought above Safe Buy | Valuations with an offer above Safe Buy in the recent period |
| Concentrated capital | One model holding a large share of the money tied up in stock |
| Fast sellers | Models that sell quickly while the shop has almost none left |
Each finding has its own article, for example Dead and slow stock alerts: what to do and Price below cost: warnings before you sell at a loss.
Reading each card
-
Status label: Urgent (red bar), Needs attention (yellow bar) and Opportunity (green bar). Cards are sorted with the most urgent first; at the same level, the one with more money involved comes first.
-
Card title: the number of devices, jobs or accounts, and the limit used, such as the number of days overdue.
-
Text under the title: the money involved and what the system suggests.
-
Card button: takes you to the screen where you fix it, such as the Aged stock & what to do report, the stock list or repair jobs.
-
List at the bottom: tap to see some of the devices or jobs behind the card; tap a device to open it.
When there is nothing to report, the screen shows Nothing needs attention.
When the data updates
The results are kept for a few minutes per shop, branch and language so the screen opens fast. The time they were calculated is shown next to Data as of. If you have just changed a price, closed a repair job or received a transfer, tap Update now to recalculate straight away.
If you are working in one branch, the system checks that branch only. If you chose all branches, it checks the whole shop.
Who sees what
-
The Store Intelligence screen opens when your shop's plan includes Store Intelligence and you hold View Store Intelligence. By default that is: Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Appraiser, Accountant.
-
Some findings reveal cost, cash or repair data, so they show only to members allowed to see that data. For example, price-below-cost findings show only to members with View cost and profit.
-
On every plan: the Overview has a Needs action section with the most important urgent and needs-attention findings. Cards in the Opportunity section of the dashboard, and the All link to the full screen, appear only when the plan includes Store Intelligence.
Morning notifications
Every morning the system checks the whole shop again and sends some findings to the notification bell: dead and slow stock, prices or market prices below cost, overdue repairs and transfers, and negative balances. Each topic is sent at most once a day, only to members allowed to see it, on every plan. Other findings, such as prices vs market or fast sellers, are not sent as separate notifications, but they appear in the daily summary and on this screen. Read more in The notification bell and inbox.
