It appears when a link is wrong or old, belongs to another store or branch, or the feature isn't open. Check the store and branch, then search again.
The Page not found page, with The link may be wrong, or this item no longer exists., appears when the system cannot find the page or record you opened, or when you should not learn that the record exists. Check these in order.
The link belongs to another store
If you work for several stores, a link you copied or were sent may belong to a store that is not currently selected. The system never shows data across stores, so it answers "not found". Switch to that store first, then open the link again; see Switch the store or branch you work in.
The record is in a branch you can't access
Members limited to some branches cannot open another branch's items or documents. The system answers "not found" rather than "no access", so it doesn't reveal that the record exists. If you really need it, ask the owner to add the branch for you; see Limit staff to certain branches.
The feature is not open for this store
Features still waiting for review before they open, such as pawn, have no pages to open, even if someone sends you a link. Check the status in Pawn is not open yet.
The link is wrong or old
-
Part of the link may have been cut off when it was copied
-
An old bookmark may point to a page that has moved
-
Use the menu or the search box at the top instead; it finds document numbers, IMEIs and customer names
The record has been deleted
Financial documents are never deleted, and voided documents can still be opened. Some data can really be deleted, though, such as customers created by an import that was later rolled back. In that case the old link no longer opens.
