  1. What each column means
  2. Using it fairly

See how many units each staff member bought and sold, their value, the profit on what they sold and how many of their documents were voided in the period.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Supervisor-Approver, Inventory staff, Accountant, Auditor, Viewer (role defaults; the owner can change them)

The Staff performance report in the Team group sums up what each person bought and sold in the period you pick. It opens with View reports.

What each column means

  • Staff: the person who recorded the document, not the person who approved it.

  • Bought (units) and Purchase value: units bought and traded in; the value is shown only to people with View cost and profit.

  • Sold (units) and Sales: units sold and their selling prices before the bill discount.

  • Net profit on sales: the true profit on the units that person sold, shown only to people with View financial reports.

  • Voided: how many of that person's documents were voided, counted by the document's date.

The list is sorted by sales, highest first. Only completed documents count, and if you pick a branch, only that branch's documents count.

Using it fairly

  • Use it to see the overall picture, not to judge on one number. Someone on the quiet shift will naturally sell less.

  • An unusually high number of voided documents is worth a conversation: maybe the wrong screen is being used, or more training is needed.

  • See who did what and when in Audit log.

Frequently asked questions

Who gets the credit in the staff performance report?

The person who recorded the document, not the approver. If someone records work under another person's account, it counts for that account, so everyone should use their own.
