The sending branch picks ready-to-sell devices and sends them. They stay in transit and can't be sold until the receiving branch ticks them in, ready to sell.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Inventory staff (role defaults; the owner can change them)

Shops with several branches move a device to another branch with a transfer. It takes two steps: the sending branch sends, then the receiving branch receives. In between, the device is In branch transfer and can't be sold. Everything happens under Branch transfers.

Before you start

  • You need Transfer items between branches and access to the branch that sends or receives.

  • Only devices that are Ready to sell or Listed can be transferred.

  • Branch transfers come with plans for several branches.

Sending

  1. Open Branch transfers on the Send tab.

  2. Choose From branch and To branch.

  3. Search by IMEI, stock code or model name, then tap the devices to transfer. You can pick several.

  4. Add a note if needed, such as who is carrying them, then tap the send button.

The system creates a branch transfer document (numbered from TRF). No money moves on it.

Receiving at the other branch

  1. Staff at the receiving branch open Branch transfers on the Incoming tab.

  2. Tick the devices that actually arrived, then confirm.

  3. The devices become ready to sell at the receiving branch and can be sold straight away.

Only tick devices that really arrived. Anything still on the way stays on the incoming tab.

Cancelling a transfer

If a device hasn't left yet, or was sent by mistake, the sending branch opens the Outgoing tab, taps cancel on that device, gives a reason and taps Confirm cancellation. The device is ready to sell at the sending branch again. Once the receiving branch has received it, it can't be cancelled; transfer it back as a new transfer.

Frequently asked questions

I sent a transfer, so why can't the other branch sell the device?

It's still in transit. The receiving branch must open the incoming tab, tick the devices that arrived and confirm. Then they're ready to sell.
