Get chosen notifications at your account email address, topic by topic. It needs a plan with email notifications; plan and invoice notices go on any plan.

Plans:
Available on Pro and up

Besides the bell in the system, you can have some topics sent to your email. This suits owners who are not at the counter all day but want to know straight away when something important happens, such as a negative balance or someone buying above Safe Buy.

Before you start

  • Email notifications are available on Pro and up. The exception is Plan and invoices, which can be emailed on every plan.

  • Emails go to the address of the user account you sign in with. The top of the Notification settings page shows which address that is.

  • Each person sets their own choices, separately for each store.

Switch on email

  1. Tap the bell in the top bar, then tap Settings.

  2. In the row for the topic you want, tick Email.

  3. If you don't also want that topic under the bell, untick In app.

  4. Tap Save.

Topics that start with email on

If you have never changed them, these topics are set to email by default (when the plan includes email): Daily summary, Negative balance, Bought above Safe Buy, Plan and invoices, Team access changed and Self-approved actions summary. Other topics start under the bell only.

What the email looks like

The subject starts with the store name in square brackets, followed by the topic. The body has the same details as the bell, plus an Open in the app button. The end of the email says how to change your notifications. Emails are in the language you chose in the system.

Not getting emails

  • Look in your spam or promotions folder.

  • Check that the store's plan includes email notifications. If it doesn't, nothing is emailed even if you ticked the box.

  • Check that the topic has Email ticked and that you are allowed to receive that topic.

  • Emails are sent in the background and may arrive a little after the bell.

Frequently asked questions

Can notification emails go to more than one address?

Not yet. Each email goes to the address of one user account. If someone else needs them, invite them to the team and have them switch on email in their own notification settings.

I ticked email but get nothing. Why?

Check that the store's plan includes email notifications; without it nothing is emailed even if ticked. Then look in your spam folder and check that you are allowed to receive that topic.
