  2. How the system sums it up
  3. What the result is used for

Every check starts as normal, so tap only the problems, choose a grade, enter the battery and save. The system sums up the result and updates the item status.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier, Appraiser, Technician, Inventory staff (role defaults; the owner can change them)

You can inspect in two places: while buying on Receive, and on an item's page with the Inspect button, for example after a repair or before a sale. The checklist depends on the product type, and each type has 3–16 checks.

Choose a result for each check

Every check starts as Normal, so tap only the ones with a problem. Each check has four options:

Option Use it when
Normal It works normally
Minor flaws It works, but has marks or a small issue
Faulty/failed It doesn't work or fails the check
None/not checked The device has no such function, or you can't check it yet

Checks set to a flaw or a fault get a box for details (optional). If a check marked Critical fails, such as the IMEI or serial matching the device or the account lock being removed, the system warns Don't accept this device.

  1. On the item page, tap Inspect and choose the stage, such as intake, after repair or before sale.

  2. Go through every line of the Checklist, tap only the ones with a problem and add details if needed.

  3. Choose a grade under Condition grade (Condition Standard), reading each grade's description.

  4. Enter the Battery health and the Charge cycles if you can read them, and add a note.

  5. Tap Take evidence photos to attach photos, then tap Save inspection.

How the system sums it up

Result When Item status after saving
Pass Every check normal Ready to sell
Passed with conditions A flaw or fault, a battery below the threshold, or grade D Awaiting repair if something failed or the battery is low; Ready to sell if there are only minor flaws
Fail A critical check failed Status doesn't change

The status only changes when the current status allows it. For example, a sold item never becomes ready to sell because of an inspection.

What the result is used for

  • The grade, battery and problems found show on the item page, and the grade is printed on the receipt.

  • Each inspection is kept as its own record and never overwrites an earlier one. See them under Inspection history.

  • Grade and battery adjust the valuation. See Condition grades A, B+, B, C and D explained.

  • Location data (GPS) is removed from attached photos automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Can I inspect a device again after repair?

Yes. Use Inspect on the item page. Every inspection is kept in the history, and the latest one sets the grade and status.

Why is a grade D device still ready to sell?

Grade D makes the result conditional, but the status only moves to awaiting repair when a check failed or the battery is below the threshold.
