- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier, Appraiser (role defaults; the owner can change them)
Buy your first item to see how the system works. The Receive item screen lists the steps from top to bottom; fill them in order and confirm once.
Before you start

Open Receive.
Under 1. Model and spec, type the model name, for example iPhone 15, and pick the model and spec from the list.
Under 2. Device, scan the IMEI with the camera or type the 15 digits. For a laptop, enter the serial number.
Go through the Checklist: everything starts as normal, so tap only the items with a problem, then choose the condition grade.
Under 3. Seller, search for the customer by ID number or phone. If not found, add a new customer with their national ID number.
Under 4. Price and payment, enter the Purchase price (agreed with customer) and choose Pay the customer by.
Tap Confirm purchase, then print the purchase voucher for the seller to sign.
After saving
-
The system issues a numbered purchase document and opens it. Tap Print 80 mm receipt or choose A4 paper.
-
The item is in stock straight away; see it under Inventory.
-
The money paid to the seller comes out of the account for the method you chose. Without an opening balance the account goes negative; see Set the opening balance before you start.
-
Tap Buy next item for the next item.
If the system asks for an approver
If the purchase price is above Safe Buy or above the store's limit, the system asks for a second person to approve. See Approve an action at the counter.
