The trends page shows models people are in a hurry to sell, models in high demand and price moves, from your own store's data, with record counts.
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Supervisor-Approver, Cashier, Appraiser, Technician, Inventory staff, Accountant, Auditor, Viewer, Dealer (role defaults; the owner can change them)
The Product trends page uses only your own store's data: the people who came to sell, what sold, who asked for or waits for something, and the selling and buying prices. There is no comparison with other stores or areas yet, and the system does not say what will happen. It helps you see what has already changed.
Three signals
-
In a hurry to sell / prices falling: clearly more people are bringing this model in, and most ask no more than we offer, or the agreed buying price has fallen. It may be a good time to buy.
-
High demand: sales are rising or faster than the whole store, and people ask for it or find it out of stock. An inquiry or a miss counts for more than one sale.
-
In a hurry to pledge: pledge contracts of this model are rising. This only appears once the store has the pawn feature turned on.
Reading the arrow and the record count
Every entry shows the number of records used and the period. The system compares the recent period with the one before it, of the same length. An arrow up, down or steady always comes with an icon and a word, never colour alone.
With little data the system shows Not enough data and draws no arrow. A model that does not meet the bar of any signal is not flagged, but you still see it in the All tab.
Price
The price line shows each model's actual sale price and agreed buying price by week, with the price range and the record counts in the table. The buying price is the store's cost, so it needs View cost and profit. Members without it still see the signals and arrows but not the prices.
On the dashboard
The dashboard shows the top three models of each signal. Tap View all to come here. Use the filters for category and period, and tap a model to see its evidence and the weekly charts.
