Note models customers ask for that you do not have, or add models the shop is looking for. Visible only in your store, with no customer name or phone.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Supervisor-Approver, Cashier, Appraiser, Technician, Inventory staff, Accountant, Auditor, Viewer, Dealer (role defaults; the owner can change them)

The wanted list holds the models the shop is looking for. When a customer asks for something you do not have, note it here. The shop sees which models are asked for often, and the system counts that demand. Only people in your store see it, and no customer name or phone is in the list.

Add from the wanted list page

  1. Open the stock page and tap Wanted list.

  2. Search and pick a model from the catalog. Pick the spec too if the customer named one.

  3. Choose Lowest grade acceptable and Budget if you know them. The budget is a range; the system does not keep an exact figure.

  4. Tap Add entry.

Note it when a customer asks for something you do not have

  1. On the stock page, type the name of the model the customer asked for.

  2. When nothing is found, the system asks Did a customer ask for this model?. Tap the right model.

  3. Choose a grade and a budget if you want.

  4. Tap Out of stock / customer asked to note that somebody asked, or Add to the wanted list if the shop will look for it.

The buttons do not appear when you search by IMEI or stock code, or when the shop already has stock that matches the search.

When you find it

Tap Found on that item. The item closes and the system notes that it was found. If you no longer need it, tap Cancel. An item left open longer than the period the system sets is shown as expired.

Who can do what

  • Anyone who can see stock can open the wanted list. Adding, closing or cancelling needs the Add items permission. By default it is held by: Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier, Appraiser, Inventory staff.

  • Staff limited to some branches see only their own branches' items and the items with no branch.

The interested button

Finding stock at other stores through the system is not open yet. See Dealer Exchange is not open yet. This page has an Interested button for a shop to say it is interested. The system only counts that someone pressed it and sends no shop or model data anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does the wanted list tell the customer when the item arrives?

No. The list keeps no customer name or phone, so it does not contact anyone. Use it as the shop's own list and as a count of which models are asked for most.
