On this page
Receipt headers use the legal or store name, tax ID and phone from store settings, plus the branch name, address and phone from the branches page.
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin (role defaults; the owner can change them)
Your store details and branch details together make up the header printed on every document: receipts, purchase vouchers and return receipts. Fill them in before you start printing receipts for customers. Store details are edited in Store settings; each branch's address and phone are edited in Branches.
Before you start
You need the Store settings permission. By default it is held by: Owner, Store Admin.
Open Store settings and go to the Store details card.
Enter the Store name and choose the Business type.
If the business is registered, enter the Legal entity / registered name and the 13-digit Tax ID.
Enter the Store phone and Store email.
Tap Save settings.
What the document header uses
| On the document | Comes from |
|---|---|
| Store name on the first line | The Legal entity / registered name if set, otherwise the Store name |
| Branch name | The branch where the transaction was made |
| Address | The branch's address, district and postal code |
| Phone | The branch's phone, or the Store phone if the branch has none |
| Tax ID | The store's Tax ID, if entered |
The store email isn't printed. A document reprinted after you change these details uses the latest details.
Good to know
-
The tax ID must be 13 digits, and phone numbers must start with 0.
-
Each save records the before and after values in the audit log.
-
The same page holds the buying and selling defaults. People who may not change those see them read-only, and saving doesn't change them. See Buying and selling defaults.
-
For the shop warranty printed on receipts, see The shop warranty printed on receipts.
Set a branch address
Open Branches, tap Edit on the branch, and enter the address, district, postal code and phone. See Add and manage branches.
If the header isn't what you expect
-
No tax ID: it hasn't been entered in store settings yet.
-
The first line shows the legal name, not the shop name: once a legal name is set, documents always use it instead of the store name. To show the store name, leave the legal name empty.
-
No address: the address comes from the branch, not store settings. Fill it in on the branches page.
-
The phone is the store's, not the branch's: that branch has no phone yet.
-
No subdistrict: the header prints the address, district and postal code. To include the subdistrict, put it in the address field.
