When a customer will not sell, tap one reason. The system notes the offer, the valuation and the price they wanted, never a name, phone or IMEI.
- Who can do this:
- Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier, Appraiser (role defaults; the owner can change them)
When you have made an offer and the customer decides not to sell, you can note it in a few taps. It shows why the shop loses a customer and how far the price the customer wanted was from your offer. Noting it is not a purchase: no money moves and no document is created.
How to note it
Choose the model, check the condition and enter the Purchase price (agreed with customer) as usual.
When the customer will not sell, tap Customer did not sell under the price and payment fields.
If you can ask, enter the price the customer wanted in Customer wanted (optional).
Tap one reason. It is saved at once and the screen is cleared for the next customer.
The Valuation page has the same Customer did not sell button, for when you value a device for a customer without opening a purchase.
The reasons you can choose
The reason is picked from a list; it cannot be typed. Price too low, another shop offered more, changed their mind, documents not ready, shop declined because of risk, and other.
What the system notes
-
The model and spec, the grade, the battery, and whether the set came complete.
-
The price you offered, and the price the customer wanted if you entered it.
-
The valuation at that moment: Expected Sell, Safe Buy and confidence, together with the shop's price settings used.
-
The reason, the branch and the time.
What the system does not note
The customer's name, phone, ID number and the IMEI are not kept with this record. The note you may have typed on the buying screen is not carried over either.
If you just leave the screen
If you enter a price and then leave the buying screen, or pick another model without buying and without tapping Customer did not sell, the system notes "not decided" without asking a reason. If that price needed someone else's approval first, it notes "waiting for approval" instead.
Where this data goes
It stays in your store only. For now it is not sent to other stores or combined with theirs. See Province prices and the cross-store IMEI signal. The system removes data older than the period in its data retention schedule.
