Sell your first item: scan the IMEI or search the model, check the price, choose how you are paid, confirm the sale, then print an 80 mm or A4 receipt.

Who can do this:
Owner, Store Admin, Manager, Cashier (role defaults; the owner can change them)

Sell your first item and print the receipt for the customer. You can sell only items that are in stock and ready to sell at the selected branch.

Sell your first item

  1. Open Sell item. On a phone it is in the More menu of the bottom bar.

  2. Under Item, scan the IMEI or type the item code or model name, then pick the item.

  3. Check or change the item's Selling price.

  4. Choose a customer if you want; an ordinary sale doesn't require one.

  5. Choose Receive payment by. For cash, enter Cash received and the system works out the Change.

  6. Check the Totals and tap Confirm sale.

Print the receipt

After saving, the system shows Transaction saved and the print buttons.

  • Print 80 mm receipt for a thermal receipt printer

  • A4 for an ordinary printer

  • Next sale to start a new bill

The receipt prints the shop warranty, 30 days by default. Reprint later from the document page with Print document; see Print an A4 or 80 mm receipt, and reprint.

After the sale

  • The item changes to sold and leaves the ready-to-sell list.

  • The money goes into the account for the method chosen, for example cash into the branch drawer.

  • The item's true profit is in the profit report, for people allowed to see cost.

More on the sell screen

If you can't find the item to sell

  • If you see This item is not ready to sell or is at another branch, check the branch name at the top left, or set Sell from branch to the branch where the item is.

  • Items still awaiting inspection or repair, in transit between branches, or already sold don't appear as sellable.

  • Type the IMEI in full; if you don't know it, search by item code or model name.

More causes are in Can't find an item on the sale page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell without entering a customer?

Yes, an ordinary sale doesn't need a customer. If you also take a trade-in on the same bill, you must record the customer with their ID, because that part is a purchase.
