On this page
It means your role, personal permissions or branch access don't cover that task, or the store is suspended. No data is lost; ask the owner to check.
The Access denied page appears when your account may not open that page or do that action. The store's data is not lost and the system is not broken. The text under the heading usually gives the reason; without a specific reason it says Your account doesn't have permission to do this. If you think this is a mistake, please contact the store owner.
Your role does not include this task
Each role in the store can do different things. A salesperson may be able to sell but not see cost or profit reports, or void documents.
-
See what your role can do under What each role can do; everyone in the store can open it
-
Ask someone who manages the team (Owner, Store Admin) to change your role or add a permission just for you under Team
-
Read more in Store roles: what each can and cannot do and Adjust one person's permissions
The task is reserved for the owner
Some tasks belong to the owner by default: the full store export, the plan and payments, valuation settings and security settings. If you are not the owner, ask the owner to do it. See Tasks only the owner can do.
The branch you chose is outside your access
Members limited to some branches can only work in those branches. Switching to another branch shows this page.
-
Switch back to a branch you look after
-
If you really need to work in another branch, ask the owner to add it for you; see Limit staff to certain branches
It says the store has been suspended
If the page says the store has been suspended, the whole store account is on hold, not just your access, and no one in the store can sign in to it. The owner should contact the team as described in Contact the team with a reference code, with the reference code shown on the page.

2FA must be set up first: accounts with important permissions are taken to the account security page to finish setting it up; see Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)

Another branch's record or a feature that isn't open: you see Page not found; see Page not found message (error 404)
-
You are sent back to the sign-in page: your session timed out; see Page expired or a form won't submit
Access was changed but you still can't get in
-
Reload the page, or sign out and sign in again
-
If you belong to several stores, check that the right store is selected; access is separate for each store
-
Ask the owner to open Team and check the change was saved
