Voids and returns
Why bills can't be deleted, how to void a document with a reason, take back items and refund, and when a second person must approve.
- Why bills can't be deleted, and voids are used instead Money documents can't be deleted or edited, so cash and profit stay traceable. If one is wrong, void it with a reason: it's reversed and kept on record.
- Void a document: steps and reason Open the document, tap Void, give a reason and get an approver if needed. Money and costs are reversed, the device status is restored and the document stays.
- Take back an item and refund the customer Open the original sale, tap Return, pick the devices, set the refund, method and reason. The refund is recorded and the device comes back for inspection.
- When a void or refund needs a second person Voiding your own, large or old document, and refunding your own or a large sale, needs a second person, unless you're the owner or the shop uses solo mode.
- Recorded something wrong or sold at the wrong price? Money documents can't be edited, so void the wrong one and record it again. Target prices, grades and customer details are changed on their own pages.
- Wrong import: roll back the batch instead of voiding If a whole import was wrong, roll back the batch on its import page within 30 days instead of voiding documents one by one.
